One out away from a perfect game.  The umpire decided to take matters into his own hands:

  Clearly neither player is on the base.

  Now it is in his glove, but neither player has touched the base yet

  Now the pitcher's foot is clearly on the base.  Perfect game completed.

  4 frames on my DVR later, the runner touches first base.

Except the umpire called him safe.  What a shithead.
